but in Texas we had Nolan's first trip to the beach and it was Aurora's second trip but she acted like she had been going all summer long. Aurora and I went home with terrible sunburns. but we still had a lot of fun. My sister dee beaches in style.

Already been to the beach twice! I love this little outfit it reminds me of an old timey bathing suit.  We had an Awesome time with our friends this past labor day.

Aurora was being Aurora but she and our friend's little boy practiced "saving" each other in the water. Aurora is spelled t-r-o-u-b-l-e.

this last photo is a pretty recent picture of the kids Nolan tries hard to play with Aurora and she seems to really like it.

Nolan is a rock star he sits up, eats rice cereal, babbles, baths sans baby bath tub, rolls every way,  practically crawls and does a bunch of other awesome stuff that babies tend to do and you forget about when its been 4 years since the one before was doing.

Aurora and I are practicing letters and numbers and reading. She is my dad's little buddy and I am glad they can spend this time together.

We find out Friday if Gerald got the geography teaching job at Lamar consolidated high school. It's not where he wants to be forever but it seems like a really good place to start.

My brother got married to a great girl (Annelle) and this past weekend the kids got to see their aunt Annelle get baptized. It has been a very special time being back. 

BTW this is my favorite time of year! and I have held off on the Christmas music at Gerald"s request. but the day after Halloween it will at least be on the ipod.
