:(

People often ask me about my mom and I usually tell everyone she's fine considering the circumstances. The other day my mom's doctor let my parents know they have two time lines and options because the current treatment is no longer effective. One: is 6 months chemo free and two: maybe 2 years with heavy chemo treatments through an iv.

if you want to read about it in my mom's words http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/lindadelaney.

it's strange and sad to have tentative dates . . .

if i come off strange or detached it's because i don't like crying in front of people and i keep it in until i can cry in my room.

My heart goes out to you. We had some warning or at least a clue that my brother could die (totally different circumstances) soon and it "kinda" helped. Honestly it did. But its hard to really grieve before or after. I pray your family will have clarity as your parents make this decision and that you'll be able to properly release that stress and emotion so you don't internalize it and make yourself sick. Love ya.
